Walter is a machinist by trade and since 1986 a local business owner. Walter, his daughter Barbara, and 16 talented employees at Parkway Manufacturing and Machine Shop, Hampton VA ( http://www.parkwaymfg.com ) produce a variety of parts for industrial needs.
Walter is a graduate of Maury High School in Norfolk. He, and his wife Judy are avid and active dancers, all around the Tidewater area. He began dancing in 1990 with some introductory lessons at the "Ballroom Dance Club." After a couple years of "Ballroom" dancing, Walter was introduced to Country-Western couples dancing. Judy, a graduate of Norview High School in Norfolk, has been a dancer since before High School. Judy became interested in Country-Western dancing several years ago starting with Two-Step and C&W line dance lessons.
Judy is an active member of the Driver Virginia Ruritan Club. Judy loves to read, work in the yard and loves good music. She is a both a Redskins and Ricky Rudd fan. In 2002 Walter retired from his volunteer job as Deputy Fire Chief for Driver Volunteer Fire Department in Suffolk. Walter had been a volunteer firefighter for 22 years. Walter is an active member of the Driver VA Ruritan Club.
Walter and Judy are the "hosts" for the highly esteemed Two Step Tidewater ( http://www.twosteptidewater.com ) dance group. They started out with a desire to create a place for a few Country and Western dancers could get together on Sunday nights to dance, without the smoke-filled-barroom atmosphere. Well it has been a smashing hit. The ballroom dancers, swing dancers, disco dancers, and the west coast swing dancers ALL show up for the Sunday night dance. It has quickly grown from a half-dozen dancers, to crowds of 70-80 people every Sunday. They have just expanded the group's reach by adding a Friday night dance.
Walter and Judy both teach basic and advanced ballroom, WCS, Latin, and Country and Western dancing at the Two Step Tidewater Sunday night dance. They have also been teaching "social dancing" for the Chesapeake Recreation Centers, and Suffolk Recreation Centers. Walter and Judy Schultz are dance professionals who enjoy teaching because of their love for dancing and other people.
Walter's daughter Barbara is a graduate of Nansemond Suffolk Academy and Christopher Newport University. After earning her degree in Business management Barbara began working full time at Parkway Mfg. Up until then Barbara had worked part time waiting tables at Huckleberry's (restaurant) in downtown Portsmouth, receptionist work at Maryview Nursing Center and part-time at Parkway Manufacturing.

Who We Are
Parkway Manufacturing and Machine Shop, Hampton VA is a local steel fabricator located in Hampton Virginia. For those not in the area, this means that we serve the Tidewater or Hampton Roads area. The local cities served are Suffolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Newport News, Williamsburg and Hampton. We also serve Isle of Wight, Southampton, James City and York counties. All of the above plus part of North Eastern North Carolina are located in our local delivery area. We have customers throughout South East Virginia (VA) or North East North Carolina beaches areas (Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Portsmouth, Newport News, Hampton Roads, Yorktown, Glouchester, Williamsburg, Hickory, and the beaches and outer banks of North Carolina (NC).
